4XGames

Here at the Round Table, we’re always adding new games to our library! We’ve highlighted some of our great new additions before, and we’d once again like to introduce you to some fantastic games that are here to expand our collection! Next time you visit us, you’ll definitely want to check out these awesome games:

Random Encounter is a competitive game for 2 to 5 players that can be played in 5 to 20 minutes. This fast paced, number-based, pixel-art card game pits players against each other in a race to collect the most loot! Players build their own encounters from fully customizable decks, and then challenge each other’s encounters in pursuit of loot! The first player to reach 5 loot wins! If you’re looking for a super quick to play game to start off a night of gaming, give this one a try!

Go Goblin, Go! is a competitive game for 2 to 6 players that can be played in 60 minutes. In this light, standalone racing and gambling game, players secretly pick three of the goblins that are racing towards a pit of fire (for their taskmasters’ amusement) and play cards to manipulate how fast the goblins move. The first goblin to fall into the pit “wins” but doesn’t get any points, so it’s up to each player to keep their chosen goblins close to the front of the race, without letting any of their picks be the first goblin to fall in the pit. At the end of the game, points are awarded based on the chosen goblins’ positions, and the player with the most points wins! If you’re looking for an easy to learn game with a lighthearted tone then this is the game for you!

Dicey Goblins is a competitive game for 3 to 6 players that can be played in 20 to 45 minutes. In this press-your luck dice game, players control goblins that are attempting to steal dragon eggs. Each round players take turns either attempting to raid the dragon’s lair or running away, all in a race to be the first player to collect 18 dragon eggs! If you’re looking for a fast paced, low stakes dice game, come try this one out!

Jupiter Rescue is a fully cooperative game for 2 to 7 players that can be played in 60 minutes. In this sci-fi strategy game, players work together as maintenance robots to escort 28 colonists on a space station to the escape pods, while under the looming threat of attack from the “creeps”, alien invaders that have chosen the players’ space station as their restaurant of choice, and the colonists as their next meal. Each turn, the players take 5 actions, choosing from a list of common actions, to help move colonists to safety. New creeps arrive at the end of each turn, and if they manage to turn enough colonists into more creeps, or destroy enough sections of the space-ship, the game is lost! If you’re looking for a modular co-op game with tons of replayability, then you need to see what this one’s all about!

We really wanted to highlight these new games but there are also tons of other games for you to check out next time you visit us at The Round Table! We’ve even got a selection of hard to come by vintage games, so come see our library and try out some of the awesome games filling our shelves!
