We’ve recently shown you some awesome new additions to our collection, and some time ago we introduced you to some great family games. Now, we’d like to introduce you to some more awesome games to play with kids! Next time you take your family to The Round Table, make sure to check out these games for kids:

The Magic Labyrinth is a competitive game for ages 6+ that can be played in 15 minutes. In this skill based memory game, players take the little magician apprentices through a maze in search of some magic objects that they have lost. The game makes clever use of magnets to create invisible walls that the little magician apprentices can’t move through. If a player hits an invisible wall, they have to start their search through the maze all over again! If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced game with really novel mechanics, give this one a try!

Lemming Mafia is a competitive game for ages 8+ that can be played in 20 minutes. In this dice rolling, betting game, several lemmings race towards a lake, and players use their dice rolls to manipulate the movement of the lemmings while betting on which lemming will reach the lake first. This is a simple roll and move game with colorful plastic miniatures. It keeps things fresh with a simple but engaging betting mechanic that rewards players with victory points at the end of the game. Try this out if you’re looking for a simple game with a slightly comedic premise and presentation.

Monster Factory is a competitive game for ages 5+ that can be played in 30 minutes. In this random tile placing game, players place tiles to either make their own monsters or their opponents’ monsters bigger, all in an attempt to make monsters that are big but don’t go unfinished. This is a very simple game that’s great for kids that aren’t quite ready for some of the more complex games in our library. Check it out if you’re looking for something really accessible.

Cat Tower is a competitive game for ages 4+ that can be played in 15 minutes, and was one of our staff picks back in March. In this cat stacking card game, players attempt to empty their hands by stacking their folding cat cards on a central tower. When a player manages to get rid of their entire hand of cards, the game ends and they are declared the winner. This simple card game is great for anyone that is drawn in by adorable art and light, fast-paced game play.

If you’re planning to bring your kids with you on your next visit to The Round Table, any of the games introduced in this article are worth giving a shot. If you’re looking for something a little more in depth to play with friends, check out some of our recommended 4X games, or the popular classic Settlers of Catan. Whatever you decide to play, we’re looking forward to your next visit to The Round Table.
