Hanabi is a cooperative card game for 2 to 5 players that can be played in 25 minutes. In this card ordering game, players attempt to place cards on the table in the right order without being able to see their own cards. They have to rely on the limited hints that other players are allowed to give them and avoid playing the wrong cards at the wrong time. This firework lighting game, is all about careful cooperation and playing the right cards. It’s a great game for groups looking for a fresh, light-hearted experience.

Love Letter is a competitive game for 2 to 4 players that can be played in 20 minutes. In this game of risk, deduction, and luck, players compete to get their love letter into the princess’s hands while preventing their opponents from doing the same. This very fast-paced card game is all about knowing what to play when, and responding appropriately to your opponents. This is a great competitive game to play if you don’t want something too serious.

Coup is a competitive game for 2 to 6 players that can be played in 15 minutes. In this game of corruption and power plays, players collect income to fund coupes, and overthrow their opponents’ leaders, or send out assassins to kill them off. In this hidden card game, players can lie about the cards that they have to use the abilities of other cards in the game but if they get caught, they have to give up one of their own leaders. This bluffing game is a great fast paced way to rile players up or draw out your competitive urges. When you play this game, you might find yourself playing it over and over again.

Dixit is a competitive game for 3 to 6 players that can be played in 30 minutes. In this super lighthearted game of deduction, players attempt to guess which card was played by the current storyteller based on a clue, and the art on the cards played by all of the players. Each round the storyteller has to give a clue that gets their idea across without making their card too obvious. Points are scored based on the number of players that guess the storytellers card, and each round the players’ score tokens move along the score track. This lighthearted game is perfect for any group looking for a unique, somewhat surreal experience.
