The Round Table is kicking 2017 off with a new tradition!

On Saturday the 31st of December, The Round Table, along with musician and featured pianist, Andrew Liorti, will be bringing you a night to remember with a piano sing along!

What IS a ‘Sing Along’?

Stemming from a piano bar (also known as a piano lounge) which consists of a piano or electronic keyboard played by a professional musician, located in a cocktail lounge, bar, hotel lobby, office building lobby, restaurant, or on a cruise ship. In this case, it’s located at Castle Camelot a.k.a. The Round Table on 32 Essex Street in Guelph.

Patrons can request a song from the list of music provided by Mr. Liorti (unless he’s feeling adventurous) by writing the request down on a napkin and handing it to him. (we’ll provide the napkins). Then, our amazing Round Table patrons will sing as a group, without microphones! The night will be filled with special cocktails, great food and an atmosphere filled with fellowship and love!

PLUS, let’s not forget this is thee board game tavern of Guelph! So we should try and play a few games too!

The cost for this event is $90 which acts as a gift coin toward food and drink for that night only! We’ll provide champagne at midnight so everyone can throw a toast to another amazing year in the past and bring forward a new year! The event is going to have limited seating, so book quickly and book by buying your tickets below and we’ll enter you into our reservation system!

Spread the word of our event too!  HERE’S HOW…

You and your friends!

Hey friends, It’s the height of Prohibition in 1920s Guelph, and there’s a mob war brewing between the South Side Sleeman Gangsters and the Northern Gofton Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders Hal Sapone and Beanie O’Dannon have finally reached an agreement on bootlegging practices in Guelph and have decided to pull together resources to undergo a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.

On the surface, this strategy seems similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups, nevertheless.

Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Wellington County, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.

The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone’s Grand Gatsby Round Table Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes or will a massive melee erupt, rekindling the fatal flames between them?

This is where your story begins!
